Dr. Reznicek

Dr. Reznicek is a board certified psychiatrist. He is a husband, father, grandfather and proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He has over 25 years of clinical experience in a wide variety of settings: community hospitals, state hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, the military, and child and adolescent clinics.

Dr. Reznicek was born a third generation Nebraskan and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School.  He will always be a die-hard Cornhusker, but since moving to the Northwest in the 90's, has become a big EWU Eagles fan, as well.

Dr. Reznicek is an active community volunteer, dedicated to preserving and improving the local parks and schools.  He enjoys taking care of his horses, dogs, cats and goats. His life experiences have taught him what wise people have known for ages--that sound mental health and success in life come from hard work, perseverance and being kind to others.

He is an advocate of positive psychology and keeps abreast of the latest scientific advances in brain neuroplasticity. He understands the tremendous resiliency of human nature, even in the toughest circumstances. He believes every human being is unique and created for a purpose: body, mind and spirit. He strives to help others see that stress and conflict can work to create positive changes in your life and that mistakes are not to be feared, but instead, information from which we can learn.
